Father Holland Catholic School to close

" The decision to close a Catholic School is always a difficult one and even a painful decision for all those who love and support the school, "
Bishop Thomas J. Tobin said in a statement.
A meeting will be held for the parents on Thursday March 26, 2015 at 7 pm at the school, 180 Sayles Ave. Pascoag, R.I." Every effort will be made to place students at other Catholic schools in the region," the Diocese said. " teachers and staff will be provided a priority hiring status at other Catholic schools throughout the State.
The news was sent out Tuesday morning to the school's faculty and staff and by a letter format to the parents on Tuesday afternoon.
This is a direct result of the rapid decline in the projected enrollment and the increased financial deficits," the Diocese said.
