Winter begins on Dec. 21st

For some of us in New England, winter is a time to bundle up, stay inside by the fire or head for warmer climates. But it’s really a wonderful time to get outdoors for daytime adventures , Ice Fishing, Fresh Tracks in the snow, Bird Feeders buzzing and nighttime stargazing.

A snowdrift is a beautiful thing - if it doesn't lie across the path you have to shovel or block the road that leads to your destination.
